Mercantile Bank Limited has recently signed an agreement with Jalalabad Gas Transmission and Distribution System Ltd (JGTDSL). Adil Raihan, Deputy Managing Director and CSBO of the Bank and SM Asadul Haque, Company Secretary of JGTDSL, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at JGTDSL’s Liaison Office in the capital on Saturday.
As per the agreement, Mercantile Bank will facilitate the collection of gas bill from JGTDSL customers through the Bank’s online banking system and Mobile Financial Services ‘MyCash’.
Engineer Md Ehsanul Haque Patwary, managing director, Engineer Md Shaheenur Rahman, GM (Marketing-North) from JGTDSL, Md Rafiqul Haque Bhuiyan, SEVP and Head of Mobile Banking and Tapon James Rozario, AVP and Head of IMLD (Acting) from the bank along with other senior officials of both the organizations were present in the ceremony.
