A view exchange meeting was held at Ward No 11 of Cox's Bazar Municipality on the Master Plan of the Cox's Bazar Development Authority and Building Construction Rules-1997.
Chairman of Cox's Bazar Development Authority Lt Col (retd) Forkan Ahmed was present as the chief guest at the meeting held on Thursday.
Member (Engineering) of Cox’s Bazar Development Authority Lt. Col. Mohammad Anwar-ul-Islam gave a power point presentation on the ongoing projects. Secretary of the Cox's Bazar Development Authority Abu Jafar Rashed, Commissioner of Ward No 11 Nur Mohammad Majhu and Women Councilor Nasima Akhter Bakul were present at the event, among others.
Forkan Ahmed said that the Cox's Bazar Development Authority is committed to building a beautiful, clean and planned city as per the master plan and is working accordingly. He therefore requested all to follow the building construction rules in case of construction of any type of building for the implementation of the planned city.
“One of my responsibilities is to make this city a modern tourist city. I have promised that I will present Cox's Bazar as one of the most modern and planned tourist cities,” he said.
