Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam has started a mass awareness campaign against dengue. Clean water at different types of water pots including buckets, flowerpots, discarded cups, tires, coconut shell are the best place for mosquitoes to breed.” The mayor urged the students to clean the surroundings of their houses and educational institutions.

He also visited capital’s HURDCO International School at Bashundhara area in the capital and distributed leaflets among the students. The DNCC mayor will attend another programme on dengue at Manik Mia Avenue in the capital on Friday.
