Milestone School and College observed the Martyred Intellectuals Day on Saturday. On the occasion, the institution has chalked out elaborate programmes, including hoisting of black flag, hoisting of the national flag half-mast, discussion and prayer for the martyrs. The discussion was held on main campus. Principal of the Milestone School and College (administrative campus) Colonel M Kamaluddin Bhuiyan (retd.) was present as the keynote speaker. Senior lecturer of the English department Zainul Abedin also spoke on the occasion.
At the end of the discussion, senior lecturer of the Bangla department Jannatul Ferdous Rima read patriotic poetry.
Students, departmental heads, teachers and a large number of officers and stuffs attended the Martyred Intellectuals Day programme.
