Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to hoist signal number 3 as deep conviction is taking place over North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of the country, reports BSS. “Deep Convection is taking place over North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh. So maritime ports are advised to hoist local cautionary signal no. three,” said a met office weather bulletin on Friday. Besides, rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions; at a few places over Dhaka and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at some places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions.Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the release said, adding Friday’s sunset at Dhaka would be at 6.44 pm and today’s sunrise here at 5.10 am.
