A warranted accused, who was arrested by police, escaped in handcuff from Girls’ School Road area in Savar on Thursday night. Later, he was arrested again within half an hour.
The accused is Krishna Pal, son of Nakul Pal of Dakkhin Para area in Savar. Police arrested him on Thursday night following a drive. Later, he escaped from police.
Hamidur Rahman, sub-inspector of Savar Model Police Station, confirmed the matter. He said, “The incident took place around 11:00pm at Girls’ School Road area of Savar on Thursday night. Krashna Pal is an absconding warranted accused in a case.”
On secret information, a team of police conducted a drive to arrest Krishna Pal at Girls’ School Road area on Thursday night and arrested him. But unexpectedly the accused escaped from police. Later, police h arrested the accused again in next half an hour of the incident by conducting drive at Namabazar area of Savar.
A case was filed with Savar Model Police Station in this connection, added the official.
