Man held with 66 bottles of phensedyl in Dinajpur

A man was arrested along with 66 bottles of phensedyl before  leaving Akota Express train at Dinajpur Railway Station of of the district on Wednesday.

The arrestee is identified as Halim, son of Abul Hossain of Maharajpur Village under Kotwali sadar upazila of Chandganj.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bangladesh Railway Dinajpur GRP Police Station Md. Golzar Hossain said that acting on tip off, a team of police led by Assiatant Sub Inspector Saheen challenged Halim and seized a luggage with 66 bottles of phensedyl. 

A case was filed with GRP Police Station against him under Narcotics Control Act. Later, he was sent to jail through court order.
