Madrasa student commits suicide in Pabna

A madrasa student committed suicide by hanging herself with a nylon rope at Bera upazila in Pabna.

The deceased was identified as Sumi Khatun, 14, daughter of Shahid Ali (Paku Mollah) of Chorpechakola village under Haturia Nakalia union of the upazila. She student of Class Seven of Verakola Darul Nur Madrasa.

It was known that Sumi committed suicide at her room. Family members and police sources said, as usually she went to sleep in her room after completing her study and dinner. At morning, her mother went to her room for waking up from sleep and make ready to go school but when she didn't respond, she went her room and found her dead.

However, Sumi's uncle UP (Union Parishad) member Mizanur Rahman said actually he didn't know, why Sumi hanging herself. But few days ago, she felt unwell as her headache was very severe. In fact, her treatment of severe headache was going on.

Madrasa super, Abdul Hakim of Darul Nur Cadet said Sumi was very quiet and decent girl. We all are very mourn about her death.

On information, Sub-inspector of Bera Model Thana, Rezaul rescued the dead body and sent to Pabna Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. A UD case was filed in this regard.
