Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over the country, reports BSS.
It may occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Khulna division with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at some places over the country during the period, said a met office press release.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period, the release added.
The maximum temperature was recorded 34.7 degrees Celsius yesterday at Chuadanga in Khulna division and today’s minimum temperature was 24.0 degrees Celsius at Teknaf in Chattogram division.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am today was recorded 157 mm at Sitakunda in Chattogram division.
