Korean PM pays homage to Bangabandhu

South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon on Monday paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman before wrapping up his three-day official visit to Dhaka. The Korean premier paid the homage placing a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum on Road-32 at Dhanmondi in the capital on Monday morning, reports BSS.

Chairperson of National Advisory Council on Neurodevelopment Disorder and Autism Saima Wazed Hossain, who is also daughter of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, received Lee on the museum premises.

The Korean premier was briefed about the history of the Father of the Nation and given the tour of the museum by Saima, the granddaughter of Bangabandhu. Later, Lee signed the visitors’ book there where member secretary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Memorial Trust, Sheikh Hafizur Rahman was also present.
