The two-day national conference of the Kendrio Khelagrah Ashor began at Shisu Academy in the capital on Friday. The motto of the conference is ‘Let us love the country and open the door of peace and happiness, to build a new generation imbued with the spirit of Liberation War’.
National Professor Dr Anisuzzaman inaugurated the conference while Post and Telecommunication Minister Mustafa Jabbar attended the conference as the chief guest. Dhaka University Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr M Akhtaruzzaman also attended the conference as the special guest.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan will attend as the chief guest at the closing session of the conference today. After inception on May 2 in 1952, the organisation is voluntarily working for protecting child rights, to unearth talent of the children, founding a science based society and even the organisation is struggling to motivate the children as a good and patriotic citizen from the very beginning since its birth. All the participants including its district, regional, city and branch representatives will participate in the national conference.
