Applications for the first year admission for undergraduate courses at Jahangirnagar University (JU), in the 2020-21 academic year starts Today (June 20).
Meanwhile, the university administration published the admission circular signed by Md Abu Hasan, Deputy Registrar and Secretary of the Central Admission Management Committee on Friday.
As per the circular, the university authority will start taking online application on Sunday (June 20) at 12 noon and keep the window open till 11:59 pm on July 31, next month. Interested and eligible candidates can visit (https://juniv-admission.org) to apply in between these dates.
Students who have passed the Secondary or equivalent examination in 2017 or later, and the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination in the year 2019 and 2020 can apply.
However, no admission test date has yet been announced. The dates once set considering the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic situation, will be published and notified through the university website and media, the circular further says.
The unit fee for each application of A, B, C, D and E has been determined at Tk 600 while for each of C-1, F, G, H, I units the fee is Tk 400. Application fees can be paid through bKash, Nagad and Rocket.
There are different and individual subject marks required to apply for each subject or units, which can be further known from the circular published in the website.
