JCI Dhaka uptown discusses first project

The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka Uptown has organised an ‘Open Mic & Greet’ session with all of its members and discussed the first project of the year.

A workshop was conducted with the project proposal named “Project Plant Perfect” on impacting the community through climate change at Gulshan Club in Dhaka, it said in a statement on Sunday. During the event, the chapter welcomed their National Governing Board (NGB) from JCI Bangladesh and they were 2015 National President Ashik and 2017 National President Nazrul Islam, 2021 National Secretary General Rumana Chowdhury, National Vice-Presidents Abdullah Safi, Nurul Nabi, National Executive Vice-President Erfan Haque and various other Local Chapter President of JCI Bangladesh. 

The Chapter Dhaka Uptown is known for its versatile members and the meet and greet session was lively through members interaction, ice-breaking sessions, live music performance and stand-up comedy.

This year JCI Dhaka Uptown has marked historic impacts, by recruiting the maximum number of members and by recruiting Tasnuva Anan Shishir, the first transgender member in the history of JCI Dhaka Uptown and JCI Bangladesh.
