IPDC launches ‘Bangabandhu Grandmaster App’

The first-ever quiz app on the life and legacy of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has been launched recently by IPDC Finance Limited. The Grand premiere was held virtually on the IPDC Official Facebook page.

Nasrul Hamid, State Minister, Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resources, graced the launching ceremony as the chief guest. 

Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister, Information and Communication Technology Division; Asaduzzaman Noor, Cultural Activist, former Cultural Affairs Minister;  Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Former Captain, Bangladesh Cricket Team; Selina Hossain, eminent writer and Chairman of the Editorial Board of the ‘Bangabandhu Grandmaster’App; and Dr. Atiur Rahman, Bangabandhu Chair Professor, Dhaka University and Former Governor, Bangladesh Bank also attended the event as special guests,  

While addressing, Nasrul Hamid, said, “The Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was a man of great principles whose ideologies remain indispensable for today's students, politicians, and the common men of all walks. Adopting exemplary morals laid by him will lead to the creation of 'LokkhoMujib' that we aspire to achieve.” 

Zunaid Ahmed Palak said it marks the historic day when the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, spoke to the world in his native language Bangla from the UN General Assembly's podium of a peaceful world order his people dreamed of.

The Chair of editorial panel Selina Hossain stated how she is still mesmerized with how Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman instilled a sense of patriotism in the people's minds through culture. 

Speaking about the App, Mominul Islam, Managing Director, and CEO, IPDC Finance Limited, said, "Bangabandhu's life is like an ocean. The more we know about his life, the more it seems that much remains unknown. Bangabandhu Grandmaster is a quiz gaming app that attempts to revisit the life and anecdotes of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by subtly instilling his moral conscience and knowledge into the younger generation."
