Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud will take classes as a part-time teacher at Dhaka University (DU) from today. Dr Hasan, also an environmentalist, will conduct a course titled ‘Evolution and Earth’s Biosphere’ of DU’s Department of Oceanography, said a press release, reports BSS.
Mahmud completed his graduation and post-graduation degree in Chemistry from Chittagong University in 1987 and 1989 respectively. He finished his Masters on ‘Human Ecology’ at the Belgium Bridge University of Brussels and on ‘International Politics’ from University Librede Bruxelles. Afterward, he received Ph.D. from the Limburg University of Belgium on ‘Environmental Chemistry’.
Earlier, Hasan Mahmud also taught at Jahangirnagar University, East West University and North South University on the subject of Environmental Science and Bangladesh Studies.
