Indian drugs, goods seized by BGB

Members of Joypurhat Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)-20 conducting separate operations recovered cows, drugs and Indian goods on Wednesday.

According to the intelligence sources, BGB members recovered three Indian Boulder cows from in front of the Mission School on Joypurhat-Panchbibi road. 

In another operation, Hili BOP petrol team recovered 41 bottles of phensedyl and Mongla Special Camp recovered 21 bottles of phensedyl, 103 pieces of yaba tablet, 4 Indian sarees, 6 pashminas, 3 types of food & cosmetics items, 297 packets of Indian colour collection Bagies and 2 Bikes along with other materials. 

Lt. Colonel Muhammad Ferdaous Hasan Tito, Commander of Joypurhat Battalion-20 said that the smugglers could not be detained as they fled during the operation. However, necessary steps will be taken if the names and addresses of those involved are found in the investigation.
