I enjoy acting in Eid productions: Tisha

National Film Award winning actor Nusrat Imrose Tisha is particular elective when it comes to acting. She prefers to be known for her acting prowess.

The actress entertained viewers playing various roles in a number of teleplays and drama serials aired on different TV channels as part of Eid-ul-Adha special programmes.

She acted in Eid drama serials namely ‘Choritro: Bharatia’, ‘Alal-Dulal’ and others along with teleplays like ‘Kingkartabbobimur’, ‘Kidnapped’, ‘Beauty Parlour’, ‘Me Too#’ and more for Eid.

“I always enjoy acting in Eid productions. However, I am very particular about my roles because viewers across the country expect a lot from me,” said Tisha, who received the National Film Award in Best Actress Category in 2016 for the film ‘Ostitto’.

In ‘Choritro: Bharatia’, Tisha acted opposite popular actor Chanchal Chowdhury. The seven-episode serial was aired on Banglavision from Eid day.

In ‘Alal-Dulal’, she acted opposite Zahid Hasan. The seven-episode serial was aired on Banglavision. Kidnapped was aired on Maasranga TV on Eid Day.

‘Beauty Parlour’ was aired on RTV on seventh day of Eid. ‘Kingkartabbobimur’ was aired on Deepto TV on second day of Eid.

“‘In the Eid productions I played diverse characters and tried to deliver my best. I hope viewers found the programmes entertaining,” said Tisha, who also gave advice to young actors.

 “These days many young actors are entering the industry. They have potential and should try to work on their acting skill,” she added.

Tisha is looking forward to start shooting for her upcoming film ‘Dhaka 2040’.

“I will start the shooting for ‘Dhaka 2040’, directed by Dipankar Dipon, soon. I am very excited about it. I hope film lovers will find it entertaining and give me a positive feedback,” said Tisha, who will act opposite Bappy Chowdhury in the film.

This Eid a large number of single-episode dramas and drama serials were released on online platforms, which are fast becoming popular among the viewers.

“These days many makers are releasing contents online and this I think is a positive development for the entertainment industry. However, we should be careful so that poor content do not flood the online platforms,” she concluded.
