Human chain in Jhenidiah marking int’l non-violence day

The people of Jhenidah formed a human chain in Jhenidah town marking international non-violence day on Wednesday. The human chain was arranged at Jhenidah post office intersection. Peace Pressure Group, a human rights organization arranged the event. Building up a united country without any violence was the theme of the event.

Hundreds of human rights activists from different organization participated in the human chain with banner, festoon and placards in the hour-long human chain.

Sujan president Aminur Rahman Tuku, ex vice chairman of Jhenidah Sadar upazila parishad Tahura Khatun, Jatiya party activist Shamim Azad Sona, Krishakdal activist Anwarul Islam, Bihanga general secretary Shahinur Alam Liton, Sujan general secretary Sharif Mahmudul Hasan and Jhenidah debating society activist Shubho Biswas among others spoke in the human chain.

The speakers urged upon the country men to build up the Sonar Bangla (a golden Bangladesh) as a united efforts.
