HSC results on July 17

The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations, held across the country on April 1 and ended on middle of May, will be published on July 17, reports BSS.

 Prof Muhammad Ziaul Haque, president of inter-board coordination sub-committee, confirmed the news this afternoon. As per the tradition, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni and Deputy Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury will hand over the brief copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina around 10:00 am on the day, he added. Later in the day, the education minister will officially brief the newsmen about different aspects of the results and answer the queries of the journalists in this connection.

A total of 13,51,309 examinees under 10 education boards from 9,081 educational institutions appeared in the examinations at 2,580 examination centres. Staring from April 1, the HSC examination ended in the middle of May. The written examinations continued till May 11 while the practical examinations were held from May 12 to May 21.
