A housewife was allegedly committed suicide by taking poison in Kalapara Upazila of Patuakhali district.
The deceased was identified as Tahmina, 22, wife of Rubel Hawlader, a resident of Modhupara under Baliatali union in the upazila.
Locals said Tahmina took poison a week ago following conjugal dispute, and fell sick. She was admitted to a Dhaka hospital.
After treatment, she was brought back home but she died around 5:00 am on Tuesday.
Confirming the matter, Sub-Inspector of Kalapara Police Station Sukantha De said an unnatural death case was filed in this connection.
