A human chain programme was held in Noakhali to protest against the torture, harassment on journalists in the name of Digital Security Act and the dismissal from job in the excuse of corona crisis across the country, in front of Noakhali Press Club on Tuesday noon.
Later, a protest meeting was organized at the Shaheed Uddin Sikander Kochi Auditorium of Noakhali Press Club. Akash Mohammad Jasim conducted the meeting chaired by Moniruzzaman Chowdhury, a senior journalist of the district.
Journalists Shah Emran Mohammad Osman Sujan, Nasir Uddin Badal, Jamal Hossain Bishad, Abu Naser Monju, Asaduzzaman Kajal and many others spoke at the time.
