‘Hafez Takrim’s achievement adds more fame to Bangladesh’

Minister of State for Religion Md Faridul Haque Khan said that Hafez Saleh Ahmad Takrim has brought fame to Bangladesh by winning the International Hafjul Quran Competition.

The State Minister said that this little Hafez of Bengal, who took part in the world's most prestigious Holy Qur'an competition held in Saudi Arabia, won the third place among 111 countries (in the 15-para Hafez category) at the age of 13, is the honor brought to Bangladesh by the children of this country. Will motivate the teenagers in a great way.

State Minister on Tuesday, in East Sahan of Baitul Mukarram Mosque, the Bangladeshi competitor won the third place in the 42nd King Abdulaziz International Hifzul Quran Competition (15 Para Hifz Category) held in Saudi Arabia under the initiative of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and under the management of the Islamic Foundation. Hafez Saleh Ahmad said these things in the speech of the chief guest at Takrim's reception.

On behalf of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the State Minister for Religion handed over a check of two lakh taka, crest and book to Hafez Saleh Ahmad Takrim.

The state minister said that the reception is not just a formality. An attempt has been made to honor the feelings and beliefs of the devout Muslims of the country through this reception. This reception will make millions of children like Hafez Saleh Ahmad Takreem more interested in learning the Holy Quran.

The State Minister said that the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman established the Islamic Foundation, observed Eid-e-Mila Dunnabi (PBUH) at the national level, reorganized the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board, allocated space in Tongi for World Ijtema, allocated land for the expansion of the Markaz Mosque in Karail. , has made outstanding contributions including the provision of government grants for the performance of Hajj.

The State Minister said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's government has also spent around 9.5 thousand crore rupees to build 564 model mosques and Islamic cultural centers in each district and upazila of the country, digitization of the Holy Quran, establishment of Islamic Arabic University, introduction of digital facilities for Hajj management. , completing the immigration of Saudi Arabia in Bangladesh, providing Master's equivalent to Dawarae Hadith certificate of Qawmi students, employment of clerics and ulama through mosque-based children and mass education programs are implementing many activities in the service of Islam.

The State Minister also said that on the occasion of OIC Youth Capital Dhaka 2020, 'OIC International Youth Qiraat Competition-2020' has been organized under the direction of the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina under the management of Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Youth and Sports and Islamic Foundation.

Additional Secretary (Development) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Mu Abdul Awal Hawladar, Hafez Takrim's father Hafez Abdur Rahman, Muhtamim Mufti Murtaza Hasan Faizi of Hafez Takrim Madrasa Markaz Faizil Quran also spoke in the reception held under the chairmanship of Dr Mo Mushfiqur Rahman, Director General of Islamic Foundation.

Allama Mufti Ruhul Amin, Khatib of National Mosque Baitul Mukarram and Governor of Board of Governors of Islamic Foundation led the prayers and prayers.
