The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), Habiganj has stood by the flood victims in Sunamganj, Sylhet. The organization has distributed food among the affected families.
At noon on Saturday, Habiganj LGED officials visited the flood-hit areas of Dumra Gungiargaon in Sunamganj, Kalikandi and the Prime Minister's Shelter Project and
distributed one packet of food to 500 families. The packets contain rice, pulses, salt, onions and edible saline.
LGED Habiganj Executive Engineer Abdul Bashir, Senior Assistant Engineer Shafiqul Islam, Assistant Engineer Farhad Amin Bhuiyan, Deputy Assistant Engineer Dilip Kumar Das, Habiganj Sadar Upazila Engineer Shakib Al Hafiz, Baniachang Upazila Engineer Minarul Islam Prom were present during the relief distribution.
Shafiqul Islam, a senior assistant engineer, said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was continuing to distribute relief to families affected by the natural disaster in Sylhet.
As part of this, Habiganj LGED distributed food among the flood victims. We will continue our efforts to help the affected people in the future.
