SAU Eco-Network is going to organise a national event named Green Fiesta 1.0 at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) in the capital. The event will begin today (March 6) with participation of students with their creativity.
Bangladesh Post is collaborating with this event as Media Partner and agricultural organisation Agri-Science Society (AgSS) is acting as Youth Partner.
SAU Eco-Network is making empathy within students towards environment though organising the event.
SAU Eco-Network Team is promoting the power of creativity for the green through this event. There are segments of Photography, Documentary, Content Writing, Quiz on the themes of SDG 6 (Raise awareness about the hygiene issues in the community), SDG 7 (Sustainable, eco-friendly and affordable sources of energy), SDG 13 (Preventing climate changes through recycling) and SDG 15 (Tree plantation and forestation).
Sk Rezwana Quadir Raisa, Campus Ambassador of SAU Eco-Network, said, ’’We have launched this event to create awareness for Mother Nature through the students with their talents. We believe that today’s students are tomorrow’s future. We can surely create a sustainable future as well as sustainable environment if we can create awareness today.’’
It can be mentionable that the SAU Eco-Network, a youth-led organization, is working in Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) as a branch of international organisation Eco-network on climate changes and environmental issues. Through their creative programme and innovation, they are making environment a sustainable one.
