Green Delta Insurance Company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Department of Banking and Insurance of University of Dhaka and has committed to collaborate in different capacities.
The forms of collaboration would include talent recruitment from Department of Banking and Insurance of DU for GDIC’s Future Leader Programme, Nasir A Choudhury Scholarship exclusively for the students of this department, career talk to orient the students of the department with professional life, knowledge sharing sessions for students and GDIC employees and joint research initiatives for the development of insurance market of Bangladesh, said a press release.
Dr Muhammad Abdul Moyeen, dean of faculty of Business Studies of DU was present as chief guest of the event.
Farzanah Chowdhury, MD and CEO of Green Delta Insurance, and Dr Muhammad Abdul Moyeen signed the memorandum of understanding on behalf of their respective organisations.
“I am positive that this agreement is just the start of a long-lasting mutually beneficial relationship, as these forms of collaborations would prove to be helpful for both parties involved,” said Farzanah Chowdhury.
