Under the direction of Shariatpur Superintendent of Police SM Ashrafuzzaman for the first time all the official activities for the family pension grant of deceased police constable Md. Abul Khair were completed within a day.
It is learned that deceased police constable Md. Abul Khair died of a heart attack at Madaripur Sadar Hospital on Thursday, July 18, while being on leave at his own home. He joined the Bangladesh Police Department on January 1, 1980 and performed his duties with honesty, efficiency and dedication. All members of the district police including SP of Shariatpur are deeply saddened by his death.
Within a day, official work of his family pension proposal, Bangladesh Police Family Security Project proposal, Bangladesh Police Welfare Fund proposal, Burial bill, Bangladesh Joint Insurance Welfare proposal, Bangladesh Police Community Bank return of Tk 27,000 has been completed on Friday.
Among the six proposals one has been sent to the District Accounts Office in Shariatpur, four to the Police Headquarters in Dhaka and one to the Deputy Commissioner of Police of DMP in Dhaka for further formalities.
All thr proposals including pension, were completed within a day under the direction of Shariatpur SP considering the welfare of the family of the deceased police constable. All the family members of the deceased police constable have expressed their gratitude to the Shariatpur SP SM Ashrafuzzaman for his initiative.
