Food distributed among poor people

Food items were distributed among a total of 200 poor and workless people of College Station Road at Nilkhunjo Abashik Alaka in Nilphamari Sadar on Wednesday. 

Anjuman Parvin (Rimi), an employee of Onuvob Foundation and a social worker, coordinated the program while Md Ajaharul Islam, Lecturer of Moshiur Rahman Degree College, arranged this program. Firoj Ahmed, a remarkable contractor, Abu Taher Raja, a businessman, Abul Kalam Azad, a social worker, Kollol, a lecturer, Ullash, a service holder, were also present.  

Anjuman Parvin (Rimi) said, “Coronavirus has made our life standstill. So, at first we enlisted the poor and distressed people of the area. Then we decided to give every poor people 5 kg rice, half kg oil, half kg lentil, and a chicken. I think we all should stand by the poor people in this situation.” 

 Sultana, a resident of the area, said, “I am highly pleased for getting this daily materials. My husband is a day laborer. But now he is workless. So we are passing a very miserable condition. May Allah bless the persons who are related to the program.” They said poor people are passing a very miserable time. In this situation, many wealthy people are extending helping hands.
