A woman, who suffered burn injures along with her husband, in a fire at his Agargaon residence on Thursday, died at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Friday night. The deceased was identified as Salma Akhter, 28, wife of Muktar Hossain . Muktar died at the same hospital on May 19.
Salma, who was undergoing treatment at Burn Unit of the hospital, died around 8 pm, said Inspector BacchuMiah, in-charge of DMCH police camp. The couple suffered burn injured in a fire following an explosion at their residence on May 16.
