Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association election is the most talked about issue right now. All artistes are discussing and debating the upcoming election. Who will be the new president? Will the same panel remain or will someone new take up leadership of the association?
In the middle of all this excitement, the election has been postponed by one week. The election has been rescheduled from 18th October to 25th October. Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association General Secretary actor Zayed Khan confirmed the matter to Bangladesh Post.
Actor Ilias Kanchan will be the chief election commissioner for Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association election. He postponed it by a week due to special circumstances.
The election is being held four months after the current committee’s term ended. Like last time, Misha Sawdagar and Zayed Khan will stand for election for the same panel.
Actor Moushumi and actor D A Tayeb will stand for election in the other panel. There is also talk of a third panel but nothing can be confirmed until the panel announcement and nomination submission are finalized.
