FBCCI distributes blankets to cold-hit low-income people

The FBCCI, distributed blankets in the capital to alleviate the winter sufferings of low-income people. 

FBCCI President Md. Jashim Uddin distributed blankets among the cold-stricken people at Islambagh Eidgah ground in Old Dhaka and at the playground of Dhaka Polytechnic Institute in Tejgaon on Saturday afternoon.

 Speaking at the distribution program, the FBCCI Chief said, FBCCI is distributing blankets among the cold-hit people as part of its social responsibility in addition to promoting trade and investment in the country. 

The FBCCI president called upon all to abide by the health protocol including wearing masks to prevent the epidemic. 

Jashim Uddin said that if people are unwillful to maintain government restrictions, the government may decide to go for a lockdown again, which will be harmful for everyone.

 Especially the low-income people will suffer the most and the recovery of Business will be hampered. Therefore, it is important for everyone to follow the health protocols and governments’ restrictions.

 The low-income people who received the blankets said the FBCCI's initiative would alleviate the hardships of the winter.

 Also present at the blanket distribution ceremony in the capital were FBCCI vice-presidents Md. Amin Helaly, Md. Habib Ullah Dawn, M A Razzak Khan Raj and directors Bijoy Kumar Kejriwal, Harun Or Roshid, Abu Motaleb, Mohammed Bazlur Rahman and S.M Jahangir Alam Manik.
