Pirgacha Correspondent, Rangpur A farewell and orientation programme for Pirgacha upazila council chairmen was held at the upazila council conference room on Tuesday.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi was present as the chief guest in the programme. Chaired by Pirgachchha UNO Md Fauzul Kabir, the progarmme was addressed by, among others, outgoing upazila chairman Afsar Ali, newly0-elected chairman Shah Mahbubur Rahman Rahman, vice-chairman Ariful Haque Liton, and outgoing vice-chairman (women) Monjhuri Begum. Local AL leaders and eminent freedom fighters were present at the programme.
