Ecommerce platform Evaly has shut its headquarters in the capital’s Dhanmondi after its managing director and chairman were arrested and remanded on fraud charge.
In an announcement on its official Facebook page on Saturday morning, Evaly said the Dhanmondi office of the ecommerce company will remain shut. However, employees of the company will perform their duty from home and the service will remain as usual, the announcement said.
A Dhaka court on Friday allowed Gulshan police to grill Evaly MD and CEO Mohammad Rassel and Chairman Shamima Nasrin to grill in custody for three days.
