The government has again extended the closure of educational institutions until Jan 30 to protect students from coronavirus infection, reports BSS.
In a circular on Friday, the Education Ministry said that the decision will be effective for all educational institutions, except the Qawmi madrasas.
Students will stay in their respective residences to protect themselves and others from coronavirus infection, said the statement of the ministry.
The statement further said that the students should abide by the instructions and directives issued from time to time by the Prime Minister’s Office, Cabinet Division, Ministry of Public Administration and Health Services Department.
Parents will ensure the students’ accommodation and the local administration will closely monitor it. The head teachers of the concerned schools will ensure that their respective students study their textbooks at their place of residence, through the concerned parents.
