Dry weather likely across the country

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Sunday predicted mostly dry weather over the country in next 24 hours commencing at 9am, reports BSS.

“Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country…Light fog may occur at some places over the country during early morning on Monday”, said a BMD bulletin issued here this morning.

The night temperature may fall slightly over western part of the country and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country. Additionally, the day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, added the bulletin.

The bulletin also predicted that the night temperature may fall further for the next 72 hours from 9am today across the country. The maximum temperature in the country on Friday was recorded at 33.2 degrees Celsius in Cox’s bazar of Chattogram division and lowest temperature on Sunday was recorded 16.2 degrees Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur division.

However, no rain was traced in the last 24 hours till 6am on Sunday. Sunday’s sunset will be at 5.12pm and sunrise at 6.15am on Monday in the capital.
