Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Tuesday predicted that weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Rajshahi and Khulna divisions, reports BSS. Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country from late night till Tuesday morning, said a Met office bulletin issued on Tuesday morning.
Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur division and the regions of Tangail, Faridpur, Sitakunda, Srimangal, Rajshahi, Pabna, Jashore and Chudanga and it may abate at some places, the bulletin said.
Night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country, added it. The highest temperature on Monday was recorded 28.3 degree Celsius in Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar, while Tuesday’s minimum temperature was 06.3 degree Celsius in Tetulia of Panchagarh district.
The sun sets at 5.42 pm on Tuesday and rises at 6.41 am Wednesday in the capital.
