Dry weather likely

The met office on Wednesday predicted the weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country until 9 am, reports BSS.  Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country from midnight to Thursday morning, said a met office bulletin issued here on Wednesday morning.

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Jashore, Chuadanga, Barishal, Tangail, Gopalganj, Faridpur, Madaripur, Nikli and Sitakunda and it may continue at some places, said the bulletin.

Night temperature may rise slightly over the country while day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, added it. The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded 28.6 degree Celsius in Teknaf of Chattogram division, while Wednesday’s minimum temperature is 06.3 degree Celsius in Srimangal of Sylhet division.

The sun sets at 5:37 pm on Wednesday and rises at 6:42 am on Thursday in the capital.
