Dry weather likely

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Wednesday predicted that weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, reports BSS.

Light to moderate fog may to occur at places over the country during late night to morning, said a met office bulletin issued in the capital on Wednesday morning.

Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin added.

As an extended outlook for the next 72 hours commencing at 9am on Wednesday, the bulletin predicted that rainfall activity is likely to take place over Rangpur division and night temperature may fall over the country.

Country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 28.7 degrees Celsius at Cox’s Bazar in Chattogram division while Wednesday’s minimum temperature was recorded 9.8 degree Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division. However, no rainfall was traced in the last 24 hours till 6am on Wednesday. The sun set at 5.12pm on Wednesday and rises at 6.31am today in the capital.
