A drug peddler was arrested along with 238 bottles of contraband Indian phensedyl from Jibannagar Upazila of Chuadanga on Sunday night.
The arrested was identified as Iqramul Haque, 35, son of late Abu Bakar of Subhalpur Village under Jibannagar Upazila of Chuadanaga.
Company commander of RAB-6 and Additional Superintemdent of police Masud Alam said they conducted an anti-drug campaign on the road near Subhalpur Government Primary School at about 11.00 PM and nabbed Iqramul Haque along with the bottles of phensedyl.
A case was filed against him with Jibannagar Police Station under Narcotics Control Act.
