Bengal Multimedia is producing a documentary titled 'Bangabandhu's Rajnoitik Jibon ebong Bangladesher Obbhudoy’ on the occasion of the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The documentary is being researched, scriptedand directed by Syed Sabab Ali Arju. On Friday (November 20) evening, the documentary was premiered at the Bashundhara City Star Cineplex in the capital.
Local Government and Rural Development Minister Md Tajul Islam, Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujon, Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid, Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh, Deputy Minister for Water Resources AKM Enamul Haque Shamim, RTV Chairman lawmaker Morshed Alam, RTV vice-chairman Jasim Uddin, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Biplob Barua, playwright and thespian Ataur Rahman and producer of the documentary and CEO of RTV Syed Ashik Rahman ,among others, attended the inaugural ceremony.
RTV’s Deputy Head of News Mamunur Rahman Khan anchored the inaugural programme.
Addressing the programme, Minister Tajul Islam said a vested quarter wanted to misguide the new generation by distorting the history of Bangladesh. Sheikh Hasina came to power and instructed the authorities concerned to unveil the true history to the people.
Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim said Bangabandhu is the greatest Bengali of all times. The ideology of Bangabandhu will inspire the young generation.
Mayor Taposh put emphasis on more research on Bangabandhu. Lawmaker Morshed Alam said RTV always speaks for the liberation war and for the people. This documentary presents the true history before the young generation.
