Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni inaugurated Bachelor of Arts (BA) for expatriate of Seoul, South Korea Bangladeshi people through video conference with Employment Permit System of education programme on Monday, reports BSS.
The programme, under Bangladesh Open University, was launched at Bangladesh Embassy at Seoul, said a press release in the capital on Wednesday.
Around 13,000 people would get opportunity to continue their incomplete degree through this three years long course. Later they can apply for higher degree by changing their visa criteria in ‘Student Visa’.
Bangladesh Ambassador to South Korea Abida Islam, Commercial Councilor Mohammad Masud Rana Chowdhury and first secretary (Labour) Makima Begum were present.
