American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) have signed an agreement with Dhaka Bank recently to facilitate tuition fee payment of their students.

To this end, a signing ceremony was held on the AIUB Campus.

Emranul Huq, acting managing director of the Dhaka Bank Limited, and Khondaker Sabbir Mohammad Kabir, director (Accounts and Audit of AIUB) signed the deal on behalf of their respective sides.

Under this agreement, AIUB students will be able to pay their tuition fees against a system-generated reference ID from all branches of Dhaka Bank across the country.

There are many benefits of this payment solution, for instance, students will not be required to be an account holder of Dhaka Bank, they will not require to fill in any deposit slip, and instead they will receive system generated registration payment confirmation slip with necessary details as a confirmation of the payment.

Vice-chancellor of AIUB Dr Carmen Z Lamagna, Head of Retail Business Division Md Shafquat Hossain, EVP & manager (Banani and Mohakhali branches of Dhaka Bank Limited) Akhlaqur Rahman, AIUB Registrar Pius Costa, Additional Registrar Khurshed Alam, Director of Student Affairs of AIUB Manzur H Khan, and other senior officials of the organisations were present on the occasion.
