Department of Family Planning signs Annual Performance Agreement
The Annual Performance Agreement (APA) for the fiscal year 2020-21 was signed on Thursday between the Health Education and Family Welfare Division and Directorate General of Family Planning under the Government Performance Management System.
Minister for Health and Family Welfare Zahid Maleque was present as the chief guest at the APA signing ceremony presided over by Secretary to the Health Education and Family Welfare Division Md Ali Noor.
Md Ali Noor and Family Planning Director General Sahan Ara Banu signed the agreement at the conference room of the Health Education and Family Welfare Division.
The Annual APA of the Directorate General of Family Planning has been formulated in line with the Vision 2021, SDG 2030, the Eighth Five-Year Plan and the overall development priorities of the government.
The APA details the strategic objectives of Directorate General of Family Planning, the activities undertaken to achieve the objectives and performance indicators.
Through the annual performance agreement, the work targets of Directorate General of Family Planning and its affiliated organisations for the fiscal year 2020-21 have been set.
The implementation of the activities adopted in the APA of Directorate General of Family Planning will accelerate the achievement of the goal of building a healthy, happy and prosperous country through planned development and control of the population of Bangladesh.
During the signing ceremony, the APA for the fiscal year 2020-21 of all the departments under the Health Education and Family Welfare Division was signed.
The function was attended by the heads of the departments under the Health Education and Family Welfare Division.
