Popular Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has reportedly tested positive for Covid-19. The actress is currently staying with her family in Bangalore where her father Former badminton player Prakash Padukone, her mother Ujjala and her sister Anisha have tested positive for Covid-19, reports India TV.
While an official confirmation on behalf of the actress has yet to come, the official handle of International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) tweeted about actress' health update on Tuesday night. "#Deepika Padukone has tested positive for Covid-19. Get well soon, Deepika!" said a tweet on IIFA. Confirming the news, entertainment industry tracker Ramesh Bala tweeted: "Actress Deepika Padukone tests positive for Covid. Wishing her a speedy recovery."
Deepika's father Prakash Padukone is currently recovering at a hospital in Bengaluru and is likely to be discharged later this week. —Gulf News
