Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Md Fazle Rabbi Miah on Thursday lauded the role of the Deputy Commissioners in the overall development of the country, reports BSS.
“Deputy Commissioners are playing a vital role in maintaining the harmony between the judiciary and the executive department…They are speeding up the development works by following the government rules and mottos”, he said while attending the ‘DC Conference-2019’ at the Jatiya Sangsad, said a press release issued.
He also said that the DC’s are performing their duties with due care resulting in development from the root level.
The deputy speaker described the apt leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the powerhouse of the development and urged the DC’s to continue to cooperate with the government to establish the ‘Sonar Bangla’ for fulfilling the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
JS Chief Whip Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury Liton, Whips Iqbalur Rahim, Shamsul Haque Chowdhury and JS senior officials were present, among others, in the conference.
