CPTU official earns project management professional status

Mohammed Salah Uddin, Deputy Director, Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU),IMED, Ministry of Planning, has qualified in the examinations of Project Management Professional (PMP).

The US-based Project Management Institute (PMI) is the globally recognized authority to award PMP certification. It is the world's leading association for those who consider project, program or portfolio management their profession.

An officer of the Administrative Cadre (27th BCS)of theBangladesh Civil Service (BCS), Salah Uddin obtained MCIPSin 2016. The MCIPS stands for Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, the UK. 

This is a very highly regarded qualification, and one of the most prestigious professional purchaser can achieve it.

Salah Uddin did his BBA (Major in Accounting and Information System) and MBA (Major in Accounting and Information System) from the University of Dhaka. He also did Masters in Public Policy, from GRIPS, Japan (2013-14).

He hails from Lakhai of Habiganjdistrict in Sylhet division. He and his wife are blessed with a son and a daughter.
