A new anthology series titled ‘Bagh Bondi Shingho Bondi’ is coming out on a local OTT platform very soon.
It is a five-episode anthology series based on diverse experiences that people have faced during the time of COVID-19 pandemic.
It is based on various issues associated with the livelihood, social status, physical and mental distresses of the people of Bangladesh like the rest of the world during this pandemic are being depicted through five different stories.
The stories are approximately 30 minutes long, written by the country’s top five film directors and makers. The scripts are written and directed by themselves.
The series comprises, ‘Arai Mon Swapna’ by Abu Shahed Emon; ‘Esho Boshey Ekshathey Khai’ by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury; ‘Mukh Asman’ by Animesh Aich; ‘Jatri’ by Gias Uddin Selim; and, ‘Nishiddho Bashor’ by Nurul Alam Atik. All the short films were produced maintaining social distancing guidelines.
This series will be released on OTT platform Binge from 1 October.
