The construction work of a concrete road from Santhia-Dhulauri road of Doulatpur village under Santhia municipality of Pabna to mosque was inaugurated on Thursday.
Mayor of Santhia municipality Mirazul Islam Pramanik inaugurated the construction work of the road.
Santhia upazila Awami League vice president Rabiul Karim Hiru, panel mayor of the municipality Abdul Hye, teacher Shahriar Arju, Yeakub Ali and others were present at the inaugural ceremony.
Mayor Mirazul Islam Pramanik said that they are working for development of municipality. All the roads under the municipality will be turned into concrete roads, he added.
