Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) will take action against any person for harassing or neglecting any corona infected person in the Chittagong metropolitan area.
This information was provided in a press release sent from CMP public relations department on Tuesday night. According to the CMP, the establishment of isolation centers by various organiza tions or individuals to prevent the spread of the corona virus,
the implementation of lock down measures and many other preventive activities are not legal.
There are also reports that landlords are not renting or trying to evict people infected with the corona virus from their houses. Appropriate actions will be taken against such people as well.
Anyone can lodge a complaint by calling the CMP hotline. CMP Additional Deputy Commi ssioner (Public Relations) Mohammad Abu Bakar Siddique said appropriate action would be taken against anyone who obstructed corona vi rus prevention activities and harassed anyone infected with the corona virus in Chattogram.
