All the cinema halls of the country are being reopened after being closed for about 6 months.

The halls have been closed for a long time due to the coronavirus epidemic.

Information Minister Hasan Mahmud said all the cinemas in the country will be opened from October 16.

In this case two conditions have been set forth that need to be complied with. They are - all the rules of health regarding coronavirus must be followed. Also, no more than half the number of seats can be occupied.

However, if the situation of coronavirus deteriorates, the decision will change, the information minister said.

The decision was taken at a meeting with the leaders of the Bangladesh Cholochitro Prodorshok Samiti at the Information Ministry on Monday afternoon.

Mia Alauddin, a former adviser to the Cholochitro Prodorshok Samiti, told the media, “It has been decided to open all the cinema halls in the country from October 16 in compliance with the health rules. The Information Minister informed us of this decision in a meeting today. We have now started that preparation.”

Also present at the meeting were former chief adviser of the Cholochitro Prodorshok Samiti Sudipta Kumar Das, Sharfuddin Elahi.

Incidentally, all cinema halls in the country have been closed since March 16 to avoid corona infection. As a result, the employees of the cinema hall became unemployed for a long time. The news of the decision to open the cinema halls this time is good news for these employees.
