The popular fusion band Chirkutt is going to release a music video of their new song on a digital platform soon. The song, 'Dekha Hok Dekha Hobey Aaj Na Holey Ar Kobey', has been penned and tuned by vocalist of the band Sharmin Sultana Shumi. The song is will portray contemporary times issues.
It is totally different from our previous tracks, said Sharmin Sultana Shumi. “We have shot the music video at various places in the capital including Old Dhaka and Dhanmondi. We recorded the song few months ago at our studio in Niketan. I hope the music lovers will find the song entertaining,” she added. Chirkutt's current line-up comprises Emon Chowdhury (guitar), Pavel Areen (drums), Sharmin Sultana Sumi (vocal), Didar (bass) and Nirab (keyboard).
The music videos will feature an alternate and new way of portraying music visually rather than going in the conventional ways as done by previous music audio visuals.
The band has been performing since 2002. It gained huge popularity among music lovers for its songs like Duniya, Kanamchhi, Ahare Jibon and others.They bagged the Channel-I Music Award 2018 in the Best Playback Music Category for the song Ahare jiban, which was recorded for Mostafa Sarwar Farooki's film 'Doob'.
